Parenthood is messy…especially with an audience.

From Ins Choi—the creator of the hit CBC sitcom and play Kim’s Convenience—comes Bad Parent, an honest, no-holds-barred portrait of young parents struggling to find their way. Every parent feels like a bad parent at least some of the time. Just when you think you have a handle on it, everything changes. Norah and Charles are trying to navigate their lives as parents of a toddler but are still trying to figure out who they are in relation to their son, to each other, and to the audience.

“[Ins Choi] is a talented playwright who is able to capture life through theatre with authenticity and elegance.”

—Tiffany Budhyanto, Mooney on Theatre (About Kim’s Convenience)
