September 21, 2023
VANCITY CULTURE LAB
Join us for an evening of Black Film as we screen the short film:”The Pace” The First Film written, produced, and created by Black Space Media.
The Pace is a drama set in the west coast of Canada, where four inner-city youth must come together to save their beloved community centre. Due to limited resources and gentrification the future of this communities space is becoming more uncertain by the day. As time is running down it’s going to take more than passion and dedication to keep the pace.
Prior to the screening there will be a panel and open discussion on New Media: the rise of AI, Virtual Spaces and Representation.
