B

May 21 – 24, 2020
Written by Guillermo Calderón | Translated by William Gregory
a Rumble Theatre production
A darkly comic dive into the absurdity of reality, B examines cross-generational tension in the mobilization of resistance and interrogates the role of violence in revolution. What does it mean to want to take up the struggle, when the struggle has silenced itself to you?

Veda Hille haunts The Cultch – All Request Hour

May 24, 2020 | Live from The Cultch
eda Hille has been padding around the Cultch in quarantine days, practicing on their very nice piano and checking vocal acoustics all around the building. This show will be her second quarantine endeavour, after a lovely evening in April, and as promised Veda will play requests for the whole concert. The catch is that you have to send in your song choices in advance, so she can refresh her memory. Send requests to Veda through facebook, twitter, insta, or her good ol’ website. Now, she can only play about 15-18 tunes in one show, so the setlist will be determined live by drawing songs from a hat, or a wine glass, or a glittery wheel of fortune (unlikely). Come join VH around the piano! Concert starts at noon so we can welcome a few other countries to the party.
