Returning after a wildly successful 2015 run, Motherload is an intimate account of parenting in the modern age. Four prominent Canadian theatre artists and mothers bare their personal stories about what it takes to be a member of the world’s biggest club.

THE DRAW: “Reminds you that you are not alone. I can’t recommend it enough; go with your partner for a date night or bring your best friends for a girl’s night out or most importantly – take your mother!” — Urban Baby and Toddler Magazine

A vulnerable, authentic, and intimate production about parenthood” — Review Vancouver

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll get to spend the night away from diapers and temper tantrums” — The Georgia Straight

This production will make you laugh until you cry, and cry because you get it. Bring your friends (and some kleenex) and enjoy the ultimate moms night out” — Inside Vancouver

This social media generation are able to do something that the similarly themed Mom’s The Word was not able to do 15 years ago, as we not only hear the stories but we also get to see the pictures and videos that will make you either squeal with laughter or sigh in recognition” – David C Jones, Vancouver Presents

Personal photos and videos combined with raw emotion, and unfiltered truth will leave you feeling connected … I laughed (a lot), I cried, and I saw a lot of myself as a mother reflected throughout the show” – Urbanbaby & Toddler Magazine

Funny, incredibly moving… raw and honest” – yoyomama
