These House Portraits are the accumulation of memory, nostalgia, history, and a response to the times of isolation during COVID-19. They are not photorealism but reflections, illusions, and interpretations of the past, present, and future. There is some sense of 'the perfect'. I see the world through a neat and tidy lens; that is my personality. Not as ominous or out of control as the world might be. The city is disappearing as we know it. We stay home, we go out. Our routines are simple; our lives build upon our community, work, families, and our homes. Please leave the light on when you go out and wave when I walk by your house.
