Did you know that we have the best parking in town? Not only is it free, but it’s close to our venues (within blocks!). Click here for detailed parking maps.
All areas but the balconies in both spaces are wheelchair accessible. You can purchase tickets at the lowered counters outside, then enter the main space via wide automatic doors. Both venues provide wheelchair accessible washrooms and bar service. Staff are friendly and able to assist in a variety of ways.
There is no designated wheelchair accessible parking at The Cultch, but there is street parking around the neighbourhood. As well, at The Cultch there are two parking spots that can be used at the rear of the building. Please call the box office ahead of time to reserve access to these spaces. Unfortunately, we do not have designated wheelchair accessible parking at the York.
At the Historic Theatre, the balcony is only accessible via the staircase. At the York, the balcony and the washrooms are accessible via the elevator and the staircase.
There are no refunds on non-subscription tickets. Single tickets may be exchanged for a fee. Subscribers receive unlimited ticket exchanges.
If you misplace your tickets for a single play, visit the Box Office the night of your show and we will reprint your tickets. If you lose an entire set of subscription tickets, please call the Box Office at 604.251.1363.
Latecomers may not be admitted. Whenever possible, we will endeavour to seat latecomers during appropriate intervals in the performance to avoid disturbing the actors and other patrons. However, for many shows it simply is not a possibility due to the layout of our theatres and the structure of the shows. If arriving by car, please allow ample time to park, and remember that there is often a lineup at the box office in the hour prior to showtime.
The Historic Theatre is equipped with an infra-red hearing assist system provided free of charge to our hearing impaired guests. We have a limited number of headsets; please reserve in advance by calling the Box Office on 604.251.1363
Yes. If the performance you are attending has an intermission, our bartenders would be happy to take your pre-paid drink order prior to the start the show. At intermission, your beverages will be ready & waiting for you.
It is very important to turn off all electronic devices for the duration of the show. If you are concerned about missing an emergency call, please leave your name, device, and seat location with an usher and we will alert you if a call comes through.
Please wait until intermission or after the performance to discuss the show. (Even whispers carry!) We request that you refrain from eating or unwrapping candy in the theatre as it causes distractions for others.
Photography and videography is strictly prohibited. If you have a complaint about another guest, please tell an usher or the Front of House Manager rather than approaching the person yourself. We will be happy to address concerns on your behalf.
Please contact our Director of Patron Development at 604.251.1766 ext. 104 if you have suggestions on how we can serve you better.
