When Bella Baird (Kerry Sandomirsky), an isolated creative writing professor at Yale, begins to mentor a brilliant but enigmatic student, Christopher (Jacob Leonard), the two form an unexpected bond. Brimming with suspense, Rapp’s riveting play explores the limits of what one person can ask of another.
The Sound Inside was nominated for six Tony Awards in 2020, including Best New Play and Best Actress.
This marks the inaugural production of all day breakfast theatre, and launches The Search Party’s New Cartography program.
“Adam’s Rapp’s new play is a stunning character study of someone you’d like to know.”
