As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary this season and the 11th year of the East Van Panto, it’s impossible not to mention the support from our community. We are thrilled to share that The Discovery Group has come on board again this year as our Panto Partner.
The Discovery Group is an international consulting firm based in Vancouver, dedicated to the social profit sector. They believe that social profit organizations can change the world. Since 2017 it has been their mission to help social profits across the globe achieve their vision and elevate community impact. They work side-by-side with clients to help them envision change, determine how to make it happen, and put the necessary tools and skills in place for success.
What began as Panto fandom, which included their entire staff attending shows and singing along in the crowd, has grown into a true partnership. A partnership that is based on our shared value to elevate community impact.
As Director of Philanthropy, Allyson Haug put it, being the Panto Partner is “a joyful gift”.
This year, you can expect the Discovery Group team to fill up a row in the York Theatre and belt out the delightfully silly tunes the East Van Panto is known for.
