About Poet nicolás serrano de la paz

me llamo nico. i was born in mexico city, and am now a temporary settler en territorios ancestrales y ocupados de les xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, səlilwətaɬ, and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh. soy no-binarie, incluso anti-binarie, and it’s on unceded territory that i create multidisciplinary poetry and act. i’m still developing my practice, i think i always will be. por ahora, mi arte es a veces sobre liberación y revolución. a veces, it’s the bearing of my soul. other times it’s other things. i believe most in collaborative and conversational practice, between artists, between people. me inspira y admiro la complejidad, the multiplicities, las contradicciones, the potentialities que existen within everything.
